Tunnel Rollar Coaster 3

Viewpoint by Michel Lacombe

Michel Lacombe, host and journalist in the first radio channel, will publish tomorrow morning in Le Devoir the letter below. Short, it goes straight to the point and asks, obviously a question for (my interpretation here) to the direction of the Company:

Do we want to resume normal activities at Radio- Canada?

Stop making the strategy and launch ultimatum to be right. It is clear to everyone on one side or the other we are on the verge of an immediate settlement or rupture which will prolong this conflict ... long.

Several approaches have been made and assumptions approximation exist and are known to those who can change the course of things. The conflict comes up against the treatment of precarious workers in the cultural sector. If something serious about it is proposed by Radio-Canada conflict is resolved. There are serious proposals that are conveyed to the subject. I do not want to suggest content for fear of harm ... but enough people are aware that to happen.

It is clear that union members in general meeting would not take back an offer already rejected. A new offer is at hand. Whether made at the point where it is needed to make it official and unequivocal.

Otherwise we all understand that the interests of all people of goodwill on both sides of the fence has been forgotten.

    Michel Lacombe, journalist and broadcaster.
