Low Temperature During Chemotherapy

And now, what can you do?

Scores of people have expressed their desire to continue the discussion after the lockout, both to discuss the future of Radio-Canada to discuss relations work. To perform part of the reflection (and some only) on the Internet, three avenues are possible.

1. E-mail discussion group
can keep the e-mail discussion group established at the beginning of the conflict and invite a larger number of participants: not only members of the CRC, but also Radio-Canada 's Other unions, managers and even members of the public because they are the shareholders of the Company. There are still 358 subscribers, which means relatively few people would have unsubscribed from the end of the lockout.

Benefits: Simplicity. All communication is via email. Ability to share files, documents, conduct surveys, among others.
Disadvantages: Huge number of messages. Signal to Noise Ratio too low. English interface only. Intrusive advertising.

2. Collaborative blog
There are ways to be more to write in a blog like this.
I created a new We called Radio-Canada (not very attractive at the moment, but it was embellished). All those who feel the attack can be tested. Publish. Give yourself a ball!
Here's how to proceed. Visit the site Blogger and the bottom right, type in the box SIGN IN (rather SIGN UP) the following data:
    username: radio-canada
    password: rabinovitch

Advantages: Flexibility. Possibility to update wherever you are, at home or at work. Possibility of allowing multiple writers to contribute. Simplicity of the interface. Simplicity of the homepage.
Disadvantages : English interface only. One page. Advertising on top of the page (which can however get rid for $ 35 U.S. per year). Limit publication 100K per month (which can double to U.S. $ 3). Vulnerability to failures of service (Blogger and Blog * Spot are ultra-popular and somewhat victims of their success).

3. Media Collaborative
There is also a way to give a more robust tool blog.
With a tool called publishing system for internet sharing (SPIP) , it is possible for group to publish, share ideas, chat online, all on the same website.
I registered the domain name blog-out.com without really knowing what to do. Now that the conflict is over, we all (all union employees, managers, listeners and viewers) we used to debate.
If you visit http://blogue-out.com/ you arrive at a new site tentatively called [after the lockout] , a site graphically regular (again, it's getting better) .

It is divided into 4 sections:
- one for discuss the future of the CBC as public broadcaster
- a second to talk about working conditions
- a third to make any announcements
- a final for subjects not covered by the other three

As with Avenue "collaborative blog", you are invited to test yourself what would your participation in this collaborative medium. Publish them what you want yet. This is a test. Everything will be cleared in due course if this avenue is chosen.
Here's how to proceed. Visit the publication interface and in the window that appears superimposed on your screen, type the following information:
    username or username : radio-canada
    password or password : rabinovitch

Advantages: Flexibility of implementation pages. New sections can be created at will. No ads.
Disadvantages: Interface of publication not easy to grasp at first. The domain "blog-out.com" will become a strange time. Only "Administrators" may authorize the publication of content (but bypassing it by making people more serious the "Directors"). Accommodation costs twenty dollars (14 € plus taxes) per month.

order not to scatter, it is obvious that it must choose one of these three tools (although e-mail discussion group can remain active forever ), or even determine that none of these tools would be useful for future work. This will be your feedback that will determine this election. Until then, blog-Out will be gradual phasing-out .
