A message from Marie-Hélène Poirier, host of the first radio station, yesterday, on the group email discussion, inspired me to make a final visit, comprehensive and final local lockout.
Here's what she had written:
- The most striking: the silence! A shock to the memory and imagination! I felt like a scene from the film by Ettore Scola, Le Bal . All these shades, colorful yet, these faces, these tables loaded with pizza and bagels and rows of chairs inlined for our information meetings, when the hall was packed ... The signs stacked become useless ... ... Pictures of us, mixed up in bundles of leaflets. An old gray wool sweater. And our PETITION! someone wrote on the top of the stack: "Find the famous names." Thrilling moment! * Sigh ...*
In kitchens, Brigitte Bougie, an official of the food committee, made a last household. Brigitte is one of many worker ants of the lockout, which has worked in the shadows, hard, cooking soups, cakes, lark. When I think back to what she did, and applied to the solidarity of hundreds of locked, I found almost a shame it's over.
In fact, this is not quite yet. To enter the large tower of Radio-Canada, we must also show their credentials. Members CISC are still excluded. Michel Lacombe, who has a program to prepare for Saturday, wanted to come yesterday morning. Scandal. Four guards, it seems, have had to leave. At least they are no longer those of Kolossal.
At the door, a note explains that this ridiculous exclusion is a matter of hours ...
