ago, hopefully, nice cafes in the borough of Anjou where Yves Desjardins and Daniel Raunet will complete a dialogue remains constructive. Here is the answer to the text of Daniel Raunet Yves Desjardins published below.
- Yves Desjardins attributed to me a lot of opinions in his text to argue against political action. I understand that comparing Canada-Quebec hurt, very hurt patrons of the CBC, but I do not understand how a member of our union makes us, on behalf of collective interest to keep quiet about it. And to do that, it takes me to target my caricature positions and tries to make me look like a dangerous separatist. Thus, in one of paragraphs are devoted to me, Desjardins attributed to me the following theory: "The company where we work is somehow a microcosm of the injustices that prevail in the Canadian federation."
There are limits to the caricature. When some, including myself, speak differences between English Canada and Quebec Radio-Canada, this is not to say that Canada is evil and that Quebec is a poor little martyr. This silly debate has no place in a union. What it is, these are plain facts, recognized by the employer himself in his annual report on Employment Equity: there is a permanently lower rate in Quebec, and lower wage levels discrimination between men and women more. The explanation, if one is necessary, in my opinion lies in the fact that we are a small organization in a small part of Canada and that if we were the communications union of Newfoundland or British Columbia, we would suffer the same discrimination. Why? Because the power of the CBC in Toronto and that when it comes time to negotiate the Convention of small union, our bosses we spend the steamroller to do no precedent for the largest. And when the CBC is negotiating the Convention of the biggest, the Guild is part of the club, we take care of it better, and forget again the small union. And year after year, that is what we know, a gap is growing, the wage level among others. To end on charges of separatism Desjardins: discrimination, it corrects itself, and decide if Rabinovitch to correct it, its political problems with parliamentarians in Ottawa would cease.
Another point: Desjardins argues that the demand for parity with the Guild, as regards radio and television general, is based on false data. Note first that there is no need to personalize the debate and make me a scarecrow: permanence in general, not a whim of Daniel Raunet is an application of the General Assembly last week adopted democratically, a subject on which I have not heard Yves Desjardins speak. And this request is not based on wishful thinking, but on facts. That here.
I enclose a list of contractors in our unit who would be permanent if they had long since been covered by the plan offered to the Guild (I took the trouble to consult the convention of the Guild and to submit the list to a permanent union of the audit). I kept people full time, with more than 3 years old. So here who have had the option of becoming permanent, but did not because there is discrimination between Canada and Quebec in terms of employment status: Édith Allaire

PSJe apologize if there are some people who have a contract position in this list while having a permanent position elsewhere, it is the only source of error that I can think of in this list.
